MEET THE TEAM

Eddie and Araceli, founders of EVR General Construction, are a family of six based in Cumberland, Virginia.

Eddie began his career in the construction industry in 2013, working as a laborer performing demolition at The Exchange Place project in downtown Richmond. Through diligence, discipline, and a commitment to excellence, he progressively advanced within the industry, gaining comprehensive experience across multiple trades. Over time, he rose from carpenter to assistant superintendent, developing a strong foundation in project execution and field leadership.

In 2017, Eddie assumed the role of drywall foreman, where he successfully managed and completed numerous renovation projects across Richmond, Norfolk, and Roanoke. During this period, he further expanded his expertise to include estimating and the operational aspects of the drywall industry.

In 2020, Eddie and Araceli established EVR General Construction. Araceli brings a professional background in accounting and tax preparation and is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management and administrative functions. Eddie leads estimating and project execution, ensuring that each project is delivered with precision, efficiency, and the highest standards of quality.

Together, they have built EVR General Construction on a foundation of integrity, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to client satisfaction. Their goal is to consistently deliver superior workmanship while fostering long-term relationships with their clients.

Outside of their professional responsibilities, Eddie and Araceli value time with their family and remain actively involved in their community, including serving as catechists in their church.
